Delivering enduring project solutions for challenging places

Corporate Social Responsibility

At Nash Partnership, we understand that our social, economic and environmental responsibilities are an important part of what we do. We constantly seek ways of improving our business practices to contribute to the communities, markets and environment in which we operate.

Social: We recognise that the built environment has an essential role to play in sustainable social development. We work with our clients across the private, public and third sector to support innovative projects that will make a positive difference to places and to people. This includes a focus on projects with long-term regenerative benefits for communities, with a proven track record in public engagement and involving local communities in the development processes affecting their lives. We are committed to providing a workplace for our staff that is healthy and safe. We believe no-one should be disadvantaged in terms of opportunities to work, progress and flourish through prejudice in respect of origin, race, religious or ethnic background, disability, age, gender or sexual orientation. Our staff are highly valued as individuals and we recognise the importance of the social dimension of their working lives through a variety of social activities that respond to suggestions put forward by them.

Environmental: We recognise that our business operations and the projects/designs which we create will have long-term impacts on the environment around us. We work with a range of organisations and clients with sustainable development at the core of their operations and seek to promote efficient building use and the implementation of sustainable technologies and materials in our projects. We seek to continually reduce environmental impacts through compliance with all relevant environmental legislation and by implementing best practice measures across our work and operations, including the application of a sustainable travel-to-work plan and subscription to the government’s cycle-to-work scheme.

Economic: We exercise integrity and ethical behaviour when sourcing and working with our customers and suppliers. We operate and communicate with our customers and suppliers in a way that is open and honest. As employers, we wish to help our staff to fulfil their ambitions and potential and therefore support them through a programme of involvement, learning, professional development and mentoring. We identify the economic impacts of the projects we undertake and, where appropriate, seek to maximise economic opportunities for local communities.

In our history, we have supported a range of charities and we help causes that are close to our hearts.

Our partners are responsible for overseeing the firm’s approach and our staff understand their part in delivering it.
