Kevin Balch

Kevin joined Nash Partnership in 1998 from Sophie Hicks Architects in London where he gained valuable experience on highly bespoke commissions for private clients & professional teams such as Paul Smith and Saatchi. He became Project Design Director in 2007 and advises on aspects of maintaining the standards required by our professional status across our business operations. Kevin also manages our n2 operation, providing bespoke residential design, management and services to private clients throughout the UK. For more information on n2 visit www.n2design.co.uk

His knowledge of these areas are put to use in the increasingly specialist tasks of formulating client's agreements documents and coordinating the necessary broad range of consultant skills for developing complex sites from sketch scheme design through to completion.

His experience in procuring highly bespoke project briefs has been invaluable in leading our work on heritage & cultural projects. Kevin was the team leader responsible for procuring packages for the £7.5 million redevelopment of Blist's Hill Victorian Town, various projects at the Coalport China museum and also proposals for new galleries, upgrading of exhibition spaces for DDA compliance including the adaption of Grade I Listed Buildings at the American Museum in Britain.

Kevin is interested in passive environmental design and his team have used these principals on many projects and bespoke houses including Orchard House – a design which was shortlisted in the Wood Awards.

'I'm grateful for your creativity. Every time I bring someone into the Stables and I hear their reaction, my admiration for the place, and for the process, is renewed. I'm almost a bit sad we've come to the end of all the major projects here'
