Robert was born in London in 1961. He studied at Bath University before registering as an Architect in 1988. He joined the Practice in 1999 after a spell as director at Samwell Locke Architects in Bath and became an equity partner of Nash Partnership in 2010.
As Partner and Technical Director Robert is responsible for developing the skills and knowledge of the practice that are required to create projects that meet the very highest standards of design and production quality at all stages of development and delivery.
He is able to call upon over 20 years of experience in the Construction industry and always applies the practical considerations of buildability to his schemes whilst delivering quality and award winning projects. In addition to the design management of projects Robert also offers our clients specialised services covering contractual advice, CDM co-ordination and party wall surveyor services.
Robert has brought extensive knowledge and experience to the practice in both historic building works and new build construction projects. Having worked as a retained consultant for English Heritage for a number of years, he has been responsible for co-coordinating repair and conservation programmes on key and highly sensitive historic sites throughout the South-West region.
