A recent visit to our Hope House project in Bath revealed just how far it’s come.
We’ve been working on the planning and architecture elements of this ambitious Acorn Property project since 2015. When our client bought the site, they recognised that the extant permission delivered a sub-optimal scheme. After we’d successfully steered a number of design changes through the planning system, work could begin on bringing forward development as quickly as possible.
This has involved creating 58 new dwellings with a mix of size in a stunning parkland setting. They are arranged around the historic Grade II listed Hope House which has been skilfully brought back to its former glory.
Work at the lower part of the site is complete: all homes were sold off plan and have been occupied for some time. Work at the upper part of the site is in advanced stages and is now close to practical completion. In its entirety, the scheme offers luxury and sophisticated living in modern, bespoke homes with Georgian charm.
We loved seeing the progress made to date and can’t wait to see such an important project for Bath come across the finishing line.
