Tolley Cottage Garden Building, Bath

Tolley Cottage is an early 19th century ashlar constructed two-storey cottage, with rear garden aspect to the Kennet and Avon Canal and is listed Grade II. It was originally used as a ticket office for the canal before conversion to a dwelling.

The current owners of the house purchased the property in 2012 and Nash Partnership secured Listed Building consent in January 2013 for some internal alterations and to replace the existing single glazed screen and doors to the garden room with timber double glazed bi-fold doors.

In 2013, the owners approached Nash Partnership to design a new garden building to replace a timber garden building that was in a poor state. Approvals were obtained and the construction of the new stone and zinc clad building was completed in summer 2015.
