Located in one of the popular Chelsea Garden Square locations off The Kings Road, Nash Partnership was introduced to the project by the local Conservation Officer following our successful interventions to resolve enforcement issues at our Old Church Street project (also in Chelsea).
Our client had purchased the property which was subject to an enforcement action due to unapproved works carried out by its previous owner.
We were able to assess the condition of the historic brickwork and inappropriate repairs. With careful use of traditional mortars and modern repair techniques, we restored this fine façade and retained most of the original bricks.
The project is now used a precedent in Kensington & Chelsea for good brickwork conservation by the conservation officers.
