On behalf of our client Longacre, we prepared sensitive detailed designs to support plans for seven new homes on land in Corsham.

Located on land near Park Lane in Pickwick, the site sits within the Painswick Conservation Area and opposite a Grade II listed building. Experts from our heritage and architecture teams developed the sensitive detailed designs to support the planning application; planning permission has since been granted and we are now taking the project onto site.

This site presents an opportunity to engage with the character of the village through a scheme that is informed by its surroundings and sits comfortably within the context of the wider conservation area. The development will serve as a significant gateway and add character to the approach to Corsham. It will also enable an improved pedestrian route by increasing the width of the public footpath and bettering public accessibility.

Our designs were developed following feedback from a series of local engagement events and in collaboration with a range of consultants specialising in highways, ecology, arboriculture, drainage and noise.
