Following his visit last year to Widcombe Junior School talking to Year 5 children about architecture and sustainability as part of their eco-town project, our Associate Architect Paul Miller, ran a Zoom session with another class on Monday.
The children asked some tricky questions including what skills and personal qualities do you need to be a good architect, how can build an eco-house in a protected city like Bath, what is the worst thing about being an architect and how do you make solar panels. Answers on a postcard please.
The session was a great opportunity to speak to children about architecture and design and was apparently well received (Paul’s son Jack was in the class and said it was ‘really interesting’).
