Nash Partnership was named ‘Architect of the Year’ at the SW Residential Property Awards event in Exeter last night, for the second year in a row.
Hosted by Insider Media, the awards are held to showcase the best work carried out in the region set against what has been an incredibly challenging and fast-moving landscape.
Nash Partnership was chosen from a shortlist of six practices, with Partner Robert Locke and Urban Design Director Amanda Taylor collecting the award on behalf of the practice. Judges commented “Nash Partnership has been involved in some of the most imaginative and creative schemes in the South West.”
Building on decades of experience across a number of sectors, the design team at Nash Partnership undertakes a range of residential work – from one-off homes to large-scale masterplans. The practice deliberately grew a multi-disciplinary skillset across built environment services, meaning the team brings balance to their thinking and approach.
Projects over the last 12 months include work on one-off highly sustainable new dwellings, working with SME repeat clients on multiple small to medium size sites, and with housebuilder clients to secure placemaking schemes for larger sites.

Nash Partnership also won the ‘Architect of the Year’ trophy at the inaugural SW Residential Property Awards event in January 2020. More recently, the practice won a national Planning Award in the ‘fostering a healthy high street’ category for work on a project in Pontefract.
