Our team is currently developing the technical design for this important residential project – The Clifton Collection – located on the site of the former Bristol Zoo car park.
The brownfield site lies to the west of College Road and within the Clifton Conservation Area. Previously providing parking for up to 160 vehicles, the site lay vacant after Bristol Zoo closed its iconic Clifton site in September 2022.
Our client, The Hill Group, is delivering a total of 62 new homes as part of The Clifton Collection, including 20% affordable. The open market properties here include 42 one- and two-bedroom apartments plus seven mews houses.
The Clifton Collection scheme is set in an historically significant location, and the design approach responds carefully to its setting – drawing inspiration from the architecture and character of the surrounding Clifton mansions.
