Designs for a large site in Qingdao
ABP specialise in the development of large-scale business hubs tailored to the needs of major international corporations. This ‘Headquarters Economy’ model has proven hugely successful in Beijing and is now being rolled out by ABP into the Chinese regions.
Nash Partnership was selected to produce designs for their site in Qingdao. Situated adjacent to the airport, this will deliver 28 million sqft (2.6 million sqm) of mixed-use commercial floor space, including a 5 star hotel, international conference facilities, 30 HQ office towers and 900,000 sqft (84,000 sqm) of retail.
With the intention of giving Qingdao a unique standout identity, ABP selected Nash Partnership to produce designs rooted in the Georgian style, fused with modern elements.
The project is now largely complete.
