From one-off homes for individual homeowners to large schemes for commercial clients, we’re proud of the residential projects we work on and the positive impact we make. It’s been a busy 12 months with lots of exciting projects starting, continuing or completing – so we were thrilled to have our work shortlisted in not one but three categories at this year’s SW Residential Property Awards:
- ‘Architect’. From creating a sustainable family home in Bath to regenerating a large area in Southmead, our design team works across a range of scales in the SW region and beyond. We enjoy the variety and knowledge-sharing across the sector this brings.

- ‘Consultancy’. Over the last year, our planning team has helped to unlock a range of sites for our clients by securing a string of consents. These include permission for a rural barn conversion in Wells and consent for our client to build 27 new affordable homes in Ludgershall. Our team also submitted outline plans last year for the exemplar Water Lane scheme, which involves the regeneration of a large area of underused and semi-derelict land in Exeter. In addition, we recently welcomed award-winning chartered town planner Alexandra Egge to the team.
- ‘Affordable housing’. Together with Somerset Council and EQUANS, we’re pleased that Phase A of the ‘North Taunton Woolaway Project’ is shortlisted as an ‘affordable housing’ finalist. This sensitive, consultation-led regeneration project aims to resolve the structural issues of 212 defective Woolaway homes. The first phase is now complete, resulting in a range of new low-carbon affordable houses and flats designed to suit the local community’s needs. Phase A of the scheme alone has already generated more than £40k of social value investment.
We’re so pleased to have our work recognised on the shortlist of these prestigious awards and look forward to attending the awards event in April.
