Multiple award wins for Nash Partnership in 2025

5 January 2026

Last year, we were proud to receive a number of awards recognising both the project work delivered by our teams and the approach of our wider practice.

These included our success at the regional SW Property Awards held in Bristol in October 2025, where Nash Partnership was recognized as ‘Architectural Practice of the Year’. At the event, judges praised our “supportive office culture” and “strong set of values” which translate into our work. The judges were also impressed with our agility in managing challenging projects.

Also, in April 2025, we were named ‘Consultancy of the Year’ at the SW Residential Property Awards in recognition of our “impressive array and scale of projects, also noting the strong focus on building an inclusive and social culture.”

Hot on the heels of these regional accolades came a win for Nash Partnership in the ‘Consultancy of the Year’ category at the Bath Property Awards in November 2025. The awards are held annually to celebrate the city’s dynamic property sector and the organisations helping to shape it.

Commenting on our achievements, the Bath Property Awards judges said: “Blending conservation with innovation and experience, Nash Partnership’s work on the Francis Hotel exemplifies heritage consultancy at its most refined.”

Daniel Lugsden and Robert Locke from Nash Partnership collected the Bath Property Awards trophy for the practice. Commenting on the win, Daniel said: “The accolade, our third in 2025, is testament to the great range of residential and commercial projects we work on. We’re proud to have a firm focus on the heritage assets that represent the city’s history and we’re excited to continue making an impact in Bath, Bristol and beyond.”

Project highlights for us from the last 12 months include:

  • Lee Bay, Devon. The former Lee Bay Hotel was derelict for more than 15 years. Twenty new homes (apartments and houses), designed by Nash Partnership, are being delivered at this beautiful coastal site by Acorn Property Group. Our team is also overseeing the construction phase, with completion expected in summer 2026.

  • Listed former Wadworth Brewery buildings, Devizes. We secured full planning and listed building consent on behalf of our client for the sensitive conversion of the vacant listed buildings at the former brewery site in Devizes. Plans include converting the former Wadworth Brewery building, the former White Lion pub and grade II listed buildings on the site to create 22 new homes and commercial space.
  • Trinity Road, Bristol. Technical designs on behalf of Hill Group for the construction of 104 affordable units (all rented) for Guinness Partnership (end user) and a new neighbourhood policing facility/commercial unit at this central Bristol site. Completion is expected in summer 2026.
  • Private client, Essex. Our reimagining and extension of a property near Loughton has stripped away years of piecemeal development to create a cohesive and stunning family home that makes the most of its wonderful 11-acre grounds.

Some highlights of our work in Bath over the last 12 months include:

  • The Francis Hotel, Bath. As heritage architect, we secured Listed Building consent for sensitive alterations which are part of this Grade I listed hotel’s transformation. Working closely with the design architect, our approach ensures the building’s historic character is preserved while delivering modern comfort and sustainability in a highly sensitive heritage setting.
  • Former Bath Press site, Bath. We’re working with developer City & Country on phases 1-3 of the redevelopment of the former Bath Press site to deliver the first 144 homes there alongside a basement car park area.
  • Small office building, Combe Hay. Our designs for a small new office development in the Combe Hay Green Belt and the Cotswold national landscape were approved in November 2024. The development will replace existing disused stables, which are in a poor state of repair, with a similar-scale office building to relocate an existing local business.
  • American Museum & Gardens, Bath. Building on an almost 30-year relationship with the museum, we’ve continued to provide advice on repairs and upgrades. Last year, this work focused on exploring thermal upgrades and renewable energy options, exhibition refit and retrofit advice, undertaking roof repairs, and reconstructing a historic retaining wall.
  • Bradford on Avon Rugby Club. Our planning consultants secured outline permission for a new indoor facility including an all-weather pitch, changing rooms, and a fitness suite, with a new landscape belt to be planted for added screening.
  • Private residential client, Bath. This Grade II-listed Georgian townhouse required an element of heritage repair alongside sensitive changes to suit the young family calling it home. Works included relocating the kitchen to its original basement location, restoring floors and fireplaces, repairing and replacing windows, and upgrading the roof. Nash Partnership led the team from concept to completion, collaborating with the local authority and wider consultant team in securing the home’s legacy for future generations.
